The Collections Enforcement Department collects fines and court costs for misdemeanor and criminal traffic cases, civil infractions and county and municipal ordinances. Fines and court costs are now due at the time of sentencing. Defendants are court-ordered to report to Collections directly from court to either pay in full or apply for a payment plan. A sworn application is completed and individual interviews are conducted for persons who request more time to pay these obligations. The cases are then monitored by the Collections Enforcement for compliance or delinquency, and reports are submitted accordingly.

The Collections Enforcement Department is located at the Bartow Courthouse, 255 N Broadway Ave., Bartow, Florida.
