Polk County Clerk Sworn in to Lead Clerks Statewide

Bartow, Fla. (July 3, 2019) — Stacy M. Butterfield wears many hats in her role as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and as Polk County’s Clerk of the Circuit Court and  Comptroller. As Clerk & Comptroller, she oversees more than 1,000 duties in service to the Polk County community. On June 26th at the organization’s annual summer conference, she added one more hat to her collection as she was officially sworn in for a one-year term as President of the Executive Board of Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers (FCCC). Former Polk County Clerk and Comptroller Richard Weiss administered the oath of office, and presented her with a custom-built LEGO® gavel provided by LEGOLAND® Florida Resort.
