General Counsel
The role of the General Counsel is to provide legal advice to insure that the Clerk’s Office operations are carried out in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. Representative functions performed by the General Counsel’s Office include:
  • representation of the Clerk’s Office in Court
  • legal research
  • contract review
  • legal interpretation of statutes, procedures, court opinions, et. al.
  • employment law advice
  • performance of periodic Legal/Correspondence audits
  • training on a variety of topics
  • dissemination of and interpretation assistance with newly enacted laws
