The PAFR (Polk County Popular Annual Financial Report) is a brief report of the County's finances for the fiscal year ended September 30. This report has been prepared especially for the Citizens of Polk County but also for others who may have an interest in the County's finances.
This report has not been updated for developments subsequent to the date of the independent auditor's report. The CAFR (Comprehensive Annual Financial Report) is an in-depth, detail report containing the County's financial statements for the fiscal year ended September 30.
The AFR (Annual Financial Report) is a financial report that each local government must submit to the Department of Financial Services (DFS), in a format prescribed by the DFS, within forty-five days after completion of the local government’s audit report.
