The Information Technology Services Department is responsible for specific
systems at the Clerk’s Office. These systems include DRD (Casey), Circuit and
County Civil New Vision, Official Records New Vision, Circuit Criminal Appeals
and Bonds, Fixed Assets, Micrographics Plat Database, and user desktop support,
including printing services. Additionally, the IT Staff assists Polk County MIS
in supporting the Tax Deeds application and both Marriage and Passports.
Backup recovery services, server maintenance, and user education are also on our
list of services.
The Information Technology Services Department does not support Mainframe issues
(CJIS, T&A, printing, etc.) run from terminals. Terminal services run from
a PC or workstation may be handled by the IT staff, but determination is made
on a case-by-case basis. Polk MIS Staff handle everyday Internet maintenance
and use.
