The Circuit Civil Department handles cases which involve monetary judgment in excess of $15,000, all matters of dissolution of marriage, injunctions, declaratory judgments, foreclosures of mortgage, negligence, professional malpractice and other matters where a claimant may be made whole by receiving a money judgment in excess of $15,000.
